Summer is over & lash extensions are back with FULL FORCE. Texture and dimension is everything this season, from super light volumes to more dramatic, full volume looks.
Right now, we’re noticing our diary is filling up and it seems the girls are wanting their extensions back ON. Classics, angel, hybrid & volume styles are proving to be the most popular for us as we transition into Autumn and closer to Winter. Read on to find out more on the lash styles keeping us booked and busy this AW.
Wispy Classic Lashes
The natural ‘barely there’ classic sets will always have their place, especially for the ‘clean girl’ aesthetic but we’re noticing clients increasingly asking for something with a bit more texture. A wispy classic set is perfect for this.
Wispy classics are ideal for clients wanting something natural but noticeable. For this style, I’d recommend using our Classic Cashmere flat lashes in both .20 and .15 and experimenting with curls to assist with getting that textured finish. .20 works really well for the wisps on the top layer of extensions and .15 is ideal for the fill volume.

Angel Lashes: light volume
Angel lashes are another style we are seeing a LOT of this season, particularly with clients that previously had classic or a Korean lash lift.
They still offer that ‘clean girl’ aesthetic as the length can be completely customised to suit every client. For clients moving from classics or lash lifts that want a slightly fuller or fluffier finish, we recommend keeping your Angel sets super light. Keep the fibres to a minimum, ideally 1-3 fibres per closed fan to keep the set hyper realistic and soft.
Our velvet volume 0.3 CC or C curl are the perfect choice for a light volume set like this, keeping the curl softer and less harsh works really well.

Textured Hybrid Lashes
Following this trend of texture and volume creeping into previously lighter lash looks, we’re seeing a big rise in clients moving from classics, to angels and finally to hybrid and volume looks!
Hybrid lashes are a perfect choice for clients looking for more texture and dimension in their sets. Even better if your client has more sparse natural lashes, as the narrow fans allow us to bridge gaps more easily.
For a hybrid set we would recommend using 0.15 flat lashes and velvet volume either 0.3 or 0.5 depending on what sort of density your client is wanting. To keep it more on the natural side go for a ratio of 70 classic - 30 volume and keep the fans light, we love using the 0.15 split tip flat lashes to create that super textured top line. If your client wants the lashes to look more full, opt for closer to that 50 - 50 classics to volume fans, but keep the fans narrow to keep texture and flutter in the set.
Brown Angel or Wispy Lashes
Brown lashes in autumn are an obvious choice for many clients, and especially those moving from more natural, summer looks into the winter seasons. So of course when textured, wispy looks are trending, brown wispies just have to get a mention in the trending lash styles for this season!
Brown lashes add warmth to your set and really highlight the texture of the lash extensions. Our BELO brown velvet volume lashes are a stunning, dark chocolate brown colour so they're perfect for fair complexioned clients and clients who just want to try a softer look.

Wispy Volume Lashes
And finally the style i think we will be seeing everywhere moving into winter, wispy volume!
Naturally as we head into the colder months and party season, we see more clients becoming more adventurous and dramatic with their lash looks. In fact, we don’t think we’ve seen this many people booking in for wispy vols since before the ‘clean girl’ era!
Wispy vols are created by using a soft fluffy base of volume fans with longer spikes that create the peaks. We recently wrote an in depth guide on top tips on how to create a perfect wispy volume set if you’d like to know more!
