There are some post-treatment products that are absolute essentials in a lash tech’s toolkit, and a lash superbonder is one of them.
A super bonder promises the best retention for your clients. Its job is to cure the adhesive instantly without shock curing, also adding flexibility to the bonding points between the adhesive and the extension meaning they are less likely to break and are more durable. A super bonder also has the added benefit of reducing adhesive fumes, making it more comfortable for the client to open their eyes after the treatment.

How do you use superbonder?
- Once your lash set is finished, wait 1-3 minutes before application.
- Take a micro-brush and dispense a droplet of superbonder, dabbing the excess onto a cotton pad.
- Carefully apply the super bonder to the adhesive area, working from the inner to outer corner.
- Wait a few moments before the client opens their eyes for the bonder to dry.
- If you choose to also use a lash sealant, apply this after the superbonder in the same manner.

Does super bonder cause shock polymerisation of the glue?
Shock polymerisation happens when the lash adhesive sets super fast due to coming into contact with liquid whilst still wet. Using a super bonder actually reduces the risk of shock polymerisation, by stabling the bonds & helping the adhesive to cure quicker, which secures them instantly without shock curing.
What are the benefits of a super bonder?
