What’s the difference between the original Velvet Volume lashes and the Re-Editions?
We’ve been working hard to make our best-selling original velvet volume lash extensions even better. The bar was already high, but we’ve raised it! Improved curl retention, lash strip adhesive, and an even darker, ultra matte finish to make every lash set you make have a flawless finish.
Can I Use Velvet Volume Re-Editions to make angel lashes?
Yes! Angel lashes are simply narrow or closed fan lash sets that retain the fluttery split tip of the fan rather than a full spike. Angel sets are super popular with clients at the minute, but you don’t have to buy specific pre-made fans for it. Keep your stock ups simple and use volume lashes instead.
How do I apply Velvet Volume Re-Edition lashes?
Velvet volume lash extensions are designed for professional use only. If you are a trained lash technician, follow the volume lash application process for your required style and look. Velvet volume lashes are designed to be used in Volume (2D-6D) and Mega Volume treatments (6D+) and are not recommended for classic lash applications (1:1 technique) as the individual fibres in 0.03 and 0.05D are too fine for classic applications and should be used to create volume fans.
What’s the best thickness to use for Volume lash extension sets?
Our Velvet volume Russian lashes are available in 0.03 and 0.05 thickness. Opt for 0.03 if your client wants a finer/ softer look for their volume set (2D-6D), or if you’re applying extra large volume fans (12D+). 0.05D is a slightly thicker individual lash fibre, so your fans will look fuller and darker in volume sets (2-6D) and are not advised for very large volume fans (12D+) as you may lose dimension in the set.
Can I Use Velvet Volume Re-Editions for hybrid sets?
Yes! Simply alternate your volume fans with our Classic Cashmere lash extensions in your desired ratio (50:50/ 30:70) to create beautiful hybrid lash sets!

What glue should I use with Velvet Volume Re Edition Lashes?
All of our lash adhesives are suitable for use with our Velvet Volume lashes, so it’s entirely down to your lashing time and your preferred technique. Our longest drying lash adhesive is Bestie bond lash adhesive, with a 1-2 second drying time, next is Bulletproof with a 1 second drying time, and Bulletproof Max 0.5 second drying time.
